What is Morpheus 8?
Morpheus 8 is a microneedling device used to help remodel and contour the face and body, penetrating deep into the skin and fat, resulting in smoother, more beautiful skin. Microneedling uses tiny needles to make micro injuries under the skin, which stimulates the body to generate collagen.
The Morpheus 8 device is a microneedling handpiece that emits radio frequency (RF) energy from the needles to further tighten and renew the skin. Along with the beneficial effects of microneedling, the radio frequency further boosts collagen production and tissue regeneration. The result is reduced wrinkles, scars and other skin concerns, and renewed, firm and radiant skin.
What areas can be treated?
Morpheus 8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital area, abdomen, thighs, legs, and buttocks.
Morpheus 8 can also be used to treat Hyperhidrosis. Radiofrequency energy is combined with microneedling to effectively reduce sweat production. Treatment of hyperhidrosis with the Morpheus 8 is typically achieved in two to three sessions spaced about four weeks apart and is performed under topical anesthesia. The underarms as well as the palms and feet can all be treated.
How many treatments are recommended?
We offer Morpheus 8 in packages of three or individually. We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments, but this should be adjusted based on your personal objectives.
How quickly will I see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few weeks, but typically after three months the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to 6 months after treatment, with results lasting years. Occasional touch ups may be required but taking care of your skin produces the longest and best results!

How Long Does the Morpheus8 Treatment Take?
The length of the treatment can depend on the individual’s needs. Typically, you will only need 30 to 60 minutes to complete the process after topical numbing for approximately 45 minutes.

Areas with challenges such as acne scarring or discoloration can also be treated with Morpheus8. It can also be used on the body for adipose tissue reduction and even on the vagina for feminie rejuvenation!
Is it Painful?
Morpheus8 is performed in our office. The procedure is relatively painless even with the deeper penetration of needles. The needles used are very sharp and fine, allowing the benefit of puncturing your skin without the feeling of any tugging or pulling. To ensure your comfort, a topical cream will be applied to the treatment area and let to sit for 45 minutes. When the procedure begins, you might feel a slight prickling sensation followed by a feeling of warmth as the needles pass over your skin. The advanced technology of Morpheus8 provides controlled and consistent heat delivery allowing for uniform treatment and results. Should you need more comfort, we offer free laughing gas (Pro-Nox) or nerve blocks to those who may need that extra comfort!
